Imran Khan loses Lahore seat to PML-N

In the battle for Lahore between the PML-N and PTI, the former has emerged victorious, according to unofficial results on Sunday morning.
PML-N candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has beaten PTI Chairman Imran Khan on the Lahore seat NA-122 seat by a close margin.
In a pre-poll interview conducted by The Express Tribune, the PTI chief was confident of his victory. Sadiq, however, has consistently won from this constituency in the 2002 and 2008 elections.
After Sadiq’s victory was declared, PML-N’s Maryam Nawaz posted on Twitter: “Lahore ne Nawaz Sharif se wafa ki! (Lahore has showed loyalty to Nawaz Sharif!)”
