Popular votes do matter even if not win seats in that proportion. However, the totals above are too early to take as final. The historic fact it is PML-N's turn and the voters have spoken. Let us not make excuses and belittle the poor Pakistanis vs. the overseas and urban vs rural vs uneducated, etc. It is this arrogance that most native Pakistani cannot relate with PTI and its foreign bred and alien looking and talking party. PTI has emerged as the largest party in one province KPK. They have no presence in the second largest province of Sindh and Baluchistan. After the trough drubbing in Punjab the moment of sun for PTI is gone. The more positive way to do is respect the verdict of people with open mind and avail the chance to prove their worth in KPK. All the promises by both the rightwing parties supported by PTI now have a chance to eliminate terrorism and stop drone attacks. Both Sharif and IK have the chance to fulfill their election promises. There is no difference in their policies and promises on the terrorism issue.
Winning by getting winnable candidates is not winning. Only people with minimum IQ and EQ would call such party a party. PTI has now become an institution imran khan needs to create more leaders...Its a start for PTI not the end
PML N has won election...PTI has won the hearts of the nation.....if today expats were allowed to vote....PTI would have been victorious.....
total votes count for nothing , its the seats
ET , very biased btw...
Just for few hours of this night.
A single step of man a giant leap for mankind.......imran khan is best
NO PTI are now the biggest party in Pakistan, PML-N only has a presence in Punjab, they have no support outside of Punjab, whereas PTI has support everywhere. Out of PMLNs 117 seats so far, they won 115 in Punjab, whereas PTI have won everywhere.
you cant blame saad rafique for 2.2 million votes :p
