    ET – the picture is not from Karachi. That is incorrect. The picture is from Punjab, NA 117 I think.

    @Nadia:

    Me too. I went at 9 in a MQM-dominated middle-class area of Karachi, and aside from the hour-long line everything went without a hitch. My polling station was a primary school, there wasn’t a single party worker or even a banner in sight inside the polling station, the staff and policemen were very helpful and cooperative (the police were even assisting the elderly so they didn’t have to wait in line outdoors). But election rigging is a sad reality in this city.

    NA 252, CAMS school – open rigging! Police standing aside and letting the hoodlums get away with it. Please take notice!
