MQM candidate in Quetta withdraws in favour of PTI

Prince Abdul Baqi Baloch Chagai withdraws candidature from NA-260 seat in favour of Karim Dad Sumalani.

QUETTA: Prince Abdul Baqi Baloch Chagai, Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) candidate for NA-260 Quetta, withdrew his candidature in favour of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) candidate Karim Dad Sumalani who is contesting from the same constituency.    

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club on Thursday, Chagai said that he decided to unconditionally support the PTI candidate after consultation with his party leaders.

PTI candidate Karim Dad assured that he would take all steps for the welfare of the people.

Workers of both PTI and MQM were present at the press conference.
