Explosion in Quetta leaves six injured

An explosion in Quetta left at least six people injured on Wednesday, Express News reported.

The explosion reportedly occurred near the Mashriq Bypass in the city.

Earlier on Wednesday, one person was killed and 13 others were injured in a blast at the main market area near Jani Chowk, Hangu.


Rescue teams and police reached the spot and cordoned off the area, while the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment.

It is impossible to conduct free and fair elections in such fearful conditions. A complete failure of state machinery to ensure that people come out and vote. Democracy has been left only to Punjab and terror reins in the rest of country.
