KARACHI:
The Karachi chief of the outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) was among the 25 people arrested in separate raids in the city on Tuesday.
Tariq Shafi Ansari was arrested from Hub River Road following a raid on a tip-off. Ansari, the officials said, was involved in several cases of sectarian killings, including the targeted killing of former Sindh Government Hospital medical superintendant Dr Hassan Alam Zaidi and Sibte Jaffer, principal of Liaquatabad Government Degree College.
