Crime: Bid to smuggle heroin foiled

The passenger confessed to swallowing 60 heroin-filled capsules.

RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Saturday foiled an attempt to smuggle heroin to a East Asian country and arrested a passenger at Benazir Bhutto Airport. The passenger, identified as Raja Arshad Suhrab Abbasi, who was to travel to Bangkok via TG-350 flight when quizzed by the ANF staff, he confessed to swallowing 60 heroin-filled capsules. The ANF took him into custody after registering a case against him.
