SIBI: Six suspected militants were killed on Sunday when security forces thwarted their bid to attack an election rally in Sibi, Express News reported.

Frontier Corps (FC) officials engaged militants in a fierce fight, killing six of the attackers.

An FC official was also killed in the exchange of fire.

The encounter is still going on.
