Precautionary Measures: NGOs asked to restrict movement

Govt organizations asked to be careful in their activities considering the security situation before elections.

Keeping in mind the precarious law and order situation, the provincial government on Saturday instructed all NGOs, INGOs, UN and humanitarian organisations to restrict their movement till May 13.

A statement issued from the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Home and Tribal Affair Department said all government organisations should also be careful in their activities across the province considering the security situation before the general elections. The department asked the Provincial Disaster Management Authority and Provincial Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Settlement Authority to send all necessary instructions to these organisations.
