Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Governor Shaukatullah Khan has said the resources placed at the disposal of the administrative machinery, coupled with the integrated action plan being implemented on ground, would ensure voters will be able to cast their ballot peacefully.
Presiding over the 33rd meeting of the provincial Apex Committee held at Governor House on Thursday, Khan said law enforcement agencies would be utilised fully during the process. K-P’s current law and order situation was reviewed in light of Election Day on May 11.
In addition to Chief Minister Justice (Retd) Tariq Parvez Khan; Peshawar Corps Commander Lt General Khalid Rabbani, Chief Secretary Ghulam Dastagir Akhtar and Home Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan were also present. The meeting was also attended by the Frontier Corps IG, and provincial heads of other law enforcing agencies.
