Nauman Haider lodged a complaint with the police that three armed assailants broke into his house in Dhoke Jaberi and shot his brother, Taimeer Haider, and fled.
Meanwhile, the same police arrested a man and recovered weapons and ammunition from him.
On a tip-off, a police party raided a hideout and nabbed Pervez and recovered three SMGs, four 30-bores, a 12-bore repeater, five revolvers, a 32-bore and 50 bullets from him.
Police lodged cases and investigation is underway.
