LAHORE: A three-day course on emergency safety procedures organised by the Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) and International Organisation for Migration (IOM) began here on Wednesday. The course is aimed at training district emergency officers in disaster management including rescue operations and first aid procedures. Speaking on the occasion, PES Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer said saving lives was the responsibility of the Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) participants.
