Saarc-cci meeting: Pakistani delegation to attend

The delegation will also hold a series of important meetings with their Indian counterparts.

LAHORE: A high level delegation of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Pakistan chapter will leave for New Delhi to participate in the upcoming SAARC Finance Ministers meeting on May 03. Leader of the delegation, Vice President SCCI Iftikhar Ali Malik said on Wednesday that finance ministers of Sri Lanka, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will meet on May 03 to discuss at length the avenues of the promotion of mutual trade among the SAARC member countries. Malik said that finance ministers may examine the possibilities of having a banking network among the member countries to boost trade in the region. The delegation will also hold a series of important meetings with their Indian counterparts and press them to help solve critical issues including the Kashmir dispute and water conflicts through peaceful parleys.
