The district coordination officers in Faisalabad, Jhang, Chiniot and Toba Tek Singh will make surprise visits to monitor the ongoing development schemes in their districts, The Express Tribune has learnt.
They were directed to undertake these visits by Divisional Commissioner Mushtaq Ahmad Anjum on Tuesday.
Anjum also directed the officers to ensure that the departments concerned completed the development project within the current fiscal year.
He also directed them to ensure that quality materials were used at all projects.
