Counter-claim: Police ‘registered bogus robbery case’

GUJRANWALA: Police have been accused of registering a bogus robbery case against four women. Chhichhir Wali’s Komal told the media that her mother Kausar Bibi worked at the house of Muhammad Siddique on Ratta Road. A few days ago, robbers took away 80 tolas of gold from Siddique’s house. She said that instead of pursuing the robbers, Siddique filed a case against her, her mother, her sister Ambar and cousin Aqsa. She said police had arrested them all and detained them at Siddique’s house for days.
