It’s about time we Pakistanis reconcile to the fact that we have black sheep among us.
LAHORE: Afia Siddiqui’s former husband has given a wide-ranging interview about his ex-wife and it’s still available online on a news website. He has accused her of willfully hiding and insists that he saw her twice between 2004 and 2007, the time that her family says she was in the custody of the Americans. Her former husband has also alleged that his ex-wife’s family kept the three children from him and says that they are not being truthful when they say that the children were missing. Her former husband is known to have been a devout and religious person so it is very unlikely that he is an American agent.
It’s about time we Pakistanis reconcile to the fact that we have black sheep among us and that they bring bad name to our country. I would put people like Faisal Shahzad and Aafia Siddiqui in the same category.
