Public transport: Vehicles to be searched till 15th
The police department will search all public transport vehicles till May 15 to reduce the risk of terrorist attacks.
FAISALABAD:
In collaboration with the transport authorities, the police department will search all public transport vehicles till May 15 to reduce the risk of terrorist attacks. Sub Inspector Ameer Nasir Javed, a Police Department spokesman, said that a special team comprising police personnel and representatives of the Regional Transport Authority would check luggage of all passengers at bus stands before they board. This exercise, he said, would continue till May 15. He said reports would be sent to the head office as well as the transport authorities daily.
