Four people, including two children, died on Sunday when the roof of a house in Sir Syed Town on Dijkot Road collapsed. One was critically injured.
Rescue 1122 officials said the roof collapsed just as the family were moving out.
Muhammad Hussain, his wife Tahira Bibi, son Afzal, and grand children Rehana and Abu Bakr were trapped under the debris. Before Rescue officials pulled them out, Husain, Tahira Bibi, Rehana and Abu Bakr had died. Afzal was taken to district headquarters hospital, where doctors said that his condition was critical.
