The Election Commission of Pakistan took notice of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan’s personal attacks against the chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
The commission sought a video recording of the PTI chief’s address at Saturday’s rally in Bahawalpur, to determine if his criticism is within limits of the code of conduct.
Imran Khan’s speech at the Bahawalpur rally will be heard by the Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G Ebrahim in a meeting which is to be held on Tuesday.
Earlier, the ECP had issued a notification prohibiting political parties and their candidates from vilifying their opponents.
The ECP has directed the candidates to confine their criticism to party policies and manifestoes.

If 80+ ECP chief is determined that he should take notice for Khan's criticism on NS, then he should also take care of pre-pol rigging by PMLN goons in Punjab, but he would not even think about this because ECP has a mandate to protect all fake degree holders, tax evaders and looters of PMLN. The emergence of PTI in Punjab against N league is itself a clear proof of victory, no matter PTI comes into power or not.
only IK...
IK's statements are of immature politician. By now he should have learnt something. Not criticizing the last PPP Government who have ruined the country.
Jeeye IK... PTI Zindabad.
@Rashid PTI trolls. Imrans speech is full with badtameezi. Its enough and people are turning away from him. Whatever he promised he was not able to deliver. Saaf shafaaf loog. We say people who are contesting from PTI ticket. See Hassan Nisars colum if you dont agree. List will go on. He promised that he will contest against Nawaz in Lahore. He say something and do something else.
@Billu
You are not a voter of PTI neither today nor before. Stop this non sense. He is criticizing Nawaz because he is doing rallies in Punjab. Only PML(N) do have their presence. If you take an account of PPP, they lost alot of vote bank, I think you dont know about this. PTI is number 1 party in south punjab.
PML(N) propaganda machine at its best
This is just a rumour spread by PML(N) and there is nothing in it. I was PML(N) supporter, after their cheap tactics of politics. Now I will vote for PTI
Imran is loosing sense now. Nawaz phobia. Now I will vote for PML-N. He lost my respect.
Can you guys start providing the sources of your news? Because I have also heard from a very reliable source that ECP has not taken note of the issue and a lot of it is just plain rumor mill in action between political opponents.
