KARACHI: Dr Fauzia Siddiqui has withdrawn her nomination papers from NA-250 following the ouster of Gen. Musharraf.
Dr Fauzia said that Musharraf has been defeated even before any vote was casted and she saw no reason to contest anymore as she did not belong in politics.
She also clarified that she has not withdrawn in favour of any political party.
Dr Fauzia also criticised the previous two governments for not doing anything for securing her sister’s release and showing criminal negligence by missing several chances of her repatriation.
She also advised the caretaker government to not repeat the same mistake and put an end to this decade long issue.

I dont think dr.fauzia is serious about getting her sister out now is she ?! She should have fought and sit in the assembly.
I still dont get it, a sane person would never go to Afghanistan EVER why did she go there ?
