Musharraf appeared before the court in relation to the Benazir Bhutto murder case and made three requests including the request to unfreeze his assets and bank accounts.
During the hearing, the court granted him the permission to meet his lawyers and also allowed him a 15-minute meeting with his lawyers inside the court premises.
Further, the court admitted the former president’s request regarding unfreezing of his assets and bank accounts for hearing. It also issued a notice to the FIA in this regard.
Musharraf also objected to being declared wanted by the authorities and the ATC decided to discuss the matter in the next hearing. Musharraf argued that since he had surrendered, he should not be declared "wanted."
The prosecutor and the FIA were asked to complete their investigation against the ex-general and submit a challan by the next hearing on May 3.
Musharraf was driven to the court in Rawalpindi, the headquarters of the army he once led, from his plush villa on the edge of Islamabad where he is serving a two-week arrest order for other charges dating back to his 1999-2008 rule.
Musharraf is accused of conspiracy to murder Bhutto, who died in a gun and suicide attack in December 2007. It is one of three cases he is fighting in the courts since returning home last month after four years in self-imposed exile.
His arrest and disqualification from contesting elections on May 11 have been a humiliating blow for the former ruler of nuclear-armed Pakistan, previously a key ally of US president George W. Bush in the war on terror.

Why the LAL MAULVIES were not charged for their treason , violence and killings.
who was Musharraf, a well wisher of the poor, the country and the development of the country.whatever he did for the poor and the middle man in the country is cleared in our eyes and every one knows it better. He recovered of rupees looted by the corrupt politicians and so-called leaders in their tenure.he is not involved in single one rupee, his enemies agree also. Parvez Musharraf got Pakistan free from IMF loans throughout his government. But today this great man is under arrest under harassment under unproved blames.the people who were under his grip that time because of their looting ,are responsible in his arrest and some judges who made him do what upon they criticise are trying to be innocent today
Good man! God will help you get through this.
we kashmiries wish u all the best.bravo mushraf
Musharraf is an Iron man, black court has no shame what the way they behave on the Roads . These r the same people who slapped the Judges in the courts . So please never expect any good from them . Long live the Army long leave the Iron Man .
Musharraf is alone a man surrounded by evil environment. But he is truly a brave man. I wish him luck and all the best
It is a shame for the nation a person is being humilitaed who has done so much for the country. This means we deserve to be ruled by the looters. God bless Musharraf and keep him safe from all evils.
God Bless Musharaff the only true leader got sad we didn't honour with him. And its a shame of what the lawyers are representing themselves!
I wish that Musharraf stand firmly to further unveil biased Judiciary, political leaders and media. He is a man of his words and free from corruption charges. God will help him...
I am glad in a way. The lawyers are agian showing their true colors. Also, most of these lawyers have their own vested interests. I hope they learn their lesson. From the onset when Mr. Musharraf arrived back to Pakistan, I wasn't paying attention to the happenings. Even though I thank and respect him immensely for all he did for the development of the country in his tenure, I knew he stood no chnace in the elections. But, now I totally despise all that is going on. There is an all out effort by the partial judiciary (and the lawyers) to humiliate him. This is a sad reflection of our society. I wish and hope a sizeable number of us keyboard supporters can actually show-up physically and support him. Time will tell.
All the best to Mr Musharraf. Everyone should be accountable why only one man?
musharraf supporters numbers are swelling.. black coats will be running soon..
God bless you Musharraf. You have the prayers of poor citizen of Pakistan with you.
