KARACHI: Karachi witnessed yet another sudden outburst of rain, on Monday, which resulted in power outages, traffic jams and flooded roads, Express News reported.

After the heat wave, the rain did come as a welcome surprise for many but traffic jams on busy roads such as Shahrah-e-Faisal dampened the spirits.

Power outages are a part and parcel of Karachi rains. KESC (Karachi Electric Supply) official revealed that they are trying to repair the 47 feeders which tripped due to rain.

Landhi, Korangi and old city faced severe power outages.

Gulshan Iqbal, Gulistan Johar, Karimabad, North Karachi, Clifton, Nazimabad and Saddar were the few areas affected by rain.

The twitterati also rose to the occasion.
