Hard to digest: 72 people fall ill from food at wedding

KARACHI: Seventy-two people fell unconscious after consuming food served at a wedding at Green Valley Hall, Korangi, on Saturday.

They were taken to Jinnah hospital and their condition is now stable. The victims, a majority of whom were women and children, are residents of Malir and Korangi.

Dr Dilip Khatri, a medical officer at the hospital,  said that none of them were in a critical condition. “
