Old is still gold: Chhipa sees a lot of potential in Lyari

KARACHI: Prominent social worker Muhammad Ramzan Chhipa said that Lyari, the oldest area of Karachi, has produced eminent scholars, intellectuals, poets and sportsmen and still possesses tremendous potential to contribute a lot more.

He was speaking as a chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony of Rose Educational Society on Sunday. Chhipa, who is the chief of the Chhipa Welfare Association, lauded the contributions made by the 32 schools being run by Rose Educational Society.

He advised the students to concentrate on their education so that they could play their role towards the progress and development of the country.
