Polling stations: Metal detectors, walkthrough gates to be installed

FAISALABAD: All people entering polling stations or public gatherings will be checked by metal detectors and walkthrough gates.

This was decided in a meeting held with RPO Mian Javaid Islam in the chair. The meeting decided that police pickets would be set up around sensitive polling stations besides installing barbed wires around them.

The RPO ordered action against people involved in fireworks and aerial firing.
