TURBAT:
A hand grenade exploded near a rally organised by the National Party in Turbat on Sunday, Express News reported.

Unknown men threw a hand grenade at the rally, when the party chief Dr Malik Baloch was about to address his supporters, and fled the scene.

However, according to the party spokesperson, no one died in the blast.

This is not the first time party rally has been attacked. Similar incidents have taken place since election campaigns have kicked in.

On April 14, a local leader of Awami National Party (ANP) leader Mukarram Shah lost his life after his car was blown up in Manglawar, Swat. Only two days later, at least 18 people were killed and 49 injured in a suicide blast in Peshawar near an ANP meeting.
