Covering new ground: Imran Khan to address Karak, DI Khan

KARAK/DI KHAN:
All arrangements have been finalised for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) convention in Karak district on Sunday. This will be Imran Khan’s first address here.
Insaf Students Federation activists will work alongside the police to provide security at the Jail Chowk ground, which can accommodate 50,000 people.
PTI District President Gul Sahib Khan said the party chief is expected to speak to the rally participants in the afternoon.
Next stop
Imran is also scheduled to address a rally at Bisaqi Ground, DI Khan on the same day. The DI Khan police say they have made stringent security arrangements for the public gathering-at what they consider a safe venue.
The district has started planning for Election Day. Registered Afghan refugees will not be allowed to leave their camps on May 11. Retired Frontier Constabulary and Pakistan Army personnel will be hired for the next 20 days and will be paid Rs10,000 per head.
