DAGGAR: Two children and their aunt died when a rocket shell, mistaken for a toy, exploded in Nawagai Shahu area of Buner district on Friday afternoon. Shahu police official Ahmad Shah said they were informed of the incident by villagers at around 2:00pm. When the police rushed to the spot, an injured woman identified as 30-year-old Zeenat Bibi said her seven-year-old nephew Shahab and nine-year-old niece Aliya brought to her what they assumed to be a toy. However, when Zeenat and the children began to clean it, the shell exploded. The children died on the spot while Zeenat was rushed to Daggar Headquarters Hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries on the way, said Shah.
