The PML-N chief was addressing the media during his visit to Balochistan. Nawaz had gone to give his condolences to president of the PML-N Balochistan chapter Sardar Sanaullah Zehri who recently lost his son, brother and nephew in an attack on their convoy on their way back from an election campaign.
“If any common man would have done what Musharraf did, then he would’ve surely been behind bars right now,” said Nawaz in reference to Musharraf’s escape and then house arrest. “Why was he escorted home safely by Islamabad police? Because he was an army chief earlier?”
“This is clearly contempt of court on police’s behalf,” he called out to the judiciary, asking them to take action against the authorities who allowed the ex-president to escape from court premises.
“The whole world is looking at us and we need to prove to them that we are law abiding citizens.”
Speaking on the security situation in Balochistan, Nawaz said that the polls should be held as per schedule and delaying them will not cure the disease of terrorism.
“Sanaullah Zehri is a test case for police in Balochistan, they should learn from this and ensure security to people of Balochistan,” Nawaz said. “It is the responsibility of both the provincial and federal government to secure Balochistan.”

The judiciary in Pakistan has played a negative role traditionally. Eg supporting dictators like Zia ul Haq. Has the world forgotten that this is the same Iftikhar Chuaudhary who legalised Musharraf's coup in 2000.

How about you Mr smarty pants? Did your party not attack the supreme court of Pakistan? What about your Karz utaro mulk sawaro scheme? What about your loan defaulting? I dont think its something with poverty to do. I think rather its about his position as coas which is providing him security. Army want to secure Musharraf because he has ruled the country before. I don't know which book Nawas Sharif has readed. BTW the court cann't o everything. Another think is where was Sharif brothers when they were sitting at the power in punjab. They didn't talked about any serious issue not even about Musharraf. They bgeab to talk about this issue after Musharraf was arrested. Its smelling very bad.

It is taking so long to bring Musharraf to justice. So, is it because he has the backing of the Pakistan Army? Which is more important: Musharraf's riches or if he has support of the Army?
A person who actually improve the economy and brought progress to Pakistan, is behind bars. Those who looted & plundered are free and pointing fingers at him.

the charge levelled against musharraf, for which he appeared in court yesterday, number 344 is a bailable offense. there was no precedent for the judge to order his arrest. you can obtain bail through a havaldar for 344, according to legal experts. more tamasha and topi drama for political purposes than any actual relevant case against the former president.

Look who is talking. The very man who attacked SC in broad day light along with his men like Akhtar Rasool and co. and the judges had to close their chambers to save their lives. This man has no shame at all. Never been an admirer of Musharraf but he certainly is an angel when compared with this liar,hypocrite and coward. Also this selective judgment by the PCO judges must stop. Zalim-e-Ala ruled Punjab on stay order for the last 4 years. Where is that implementation of the justice in that case? Why judiciary never takes action in Asghar Khan case?

Let us face it,Mr Nawaz Sharif is right in his observation.
Look who is talking. If nawaz sharif had been poor he would have been jailed too. Overthrowing an army chief in mid-air and directing his plane to land in enemy territory is also treason.
Nawaz Sharif has made a correct observation regarding Musharraf but the same is also applicable to the corrupt and rich politicians who have looted millions of public money but are not put behind bars.
