On Thursday, the joint MQM unit in-charge of UC – 5 in Mehmoodabad Muhammad Faisal was killed.
According to the MQM coordination committee, black flags would be hoisted and prayers would be offered for the deceased.
However, the party maintained that business activities in the city will continue as usual, and transport services would remain uninterrupted.
"No steps are being taken by the caretaker government and the security agencies for protecting the life and property of the MQM workers and sympathisers," said members of the committee.

How many people's live did MQM "protect" when they ran the city for the last 5 years They never bothered to save citizens from the lack of law and order. Don't expect citizens to care now sirs
Inna Lillahe Wa Inna Ilaihe Rajeoon M. Faisal. This is the apathetical and negligent nature of Pakistani governments that come to Islamabad. Line the pockets and give a hoot to all complaints even if a life is lost. Remaining peaceful is a contribution to the livelihood and welfare of of all. Well done Muttaheda. Salams
RIP. And well done MQM for maintaining peace in the city despite the loss.
