The federal government has released monetary compensation for families of levies and khasadar force members killed while fighting anti-state elements in the tribal areas.


The bench was told previous court orders had been complied with and Rs453.9 million, claimed by the provincial home department and Federally Administered Tribal Areas Secretariat, was disbursed by way of Shuhada (martyr) packages.

The court ordered the amount be distributed among legal heirs of the victims within 15 days.
