Living in the past

Letter April 18, 2013
Politicians need to stop using their past sacrifices to hoodwink people.

ISLAMABAD: Religious parties use religion to improve their vote bank and the PPP, led by Asif Ali Zardari, exploits the sacrifices of the Bhuttos to strengthen its chances at the polls. Both camps, apparently adversarial to each other, live in the past and hoodwink the people. How long can the two chips of the same block fool all of the people all the time?

The people must open their eyes and understand the tricks being played on them. While the rest of the world is laughing at us, the leaders of the two camps cannot see the reality because their heads are buried deep in sand.
