Karachi killings: Two picnickers, three others killed

Five people were killed in different incidents of violence across the city on Sunday.


A picnic turned into a tragedy when robbers shot dead a man, Sandic, and his sister-in-law, Daniel, at a hut in Hawkes Bay. Another woman, Robina, was also injured in the incident. Police said that the family put up a fight when the robbers started misbehaving with the female members of the family. A 35-year old rickshaw driver, Karam Illahi, was shot dead by unidentified men near Saba cinema. Nadeem Ahmed, 28, was killed over a personal enmity near his home in Dhani Baksh Goth, Ahsanabad. Separately, Ameer Khan, 50, was shot dead by his nephew, Dost Muhammad, when he turned down Muhammad’s marriage proposal for his daughter.
