Vote for change: Entrepreneurs advised to choose wisely

Emphasis was on carefully evaluating the candidate's background and party's agenda for an intelligent vote.

The Small and Medium Enterprises sector has been advised to exercise diligence when choosing the candidate to vote for in the upcoming elections.

The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises President Zulfikar Thaver said that the upcoming elections are crucial for the country’s future and it is imperative that entrepreneurs evaluate the candidates’ backgrounds and the relevant party’s agenda before casting their votes.

A country cannot progress without the guidance of visionary leaders, he said, while lamenting over the prevailing situation of lawlessness and corruption in the country.

Thaver pointed out that Pakistan is a country blessed with many natural resources, with the capability to manufacture many items, such as cheese, butter, clothing, electronic goods and footwear. The union has directed its members to support and vote for the candidates and parties with a manifesto that clearly supports social and economic growth in the country.
