The trials began in Multan and Garhi Khuda Baksh where Atta Ullah, Amir Yamin, Wajid Ali and Mahfooz ahmed were selected.

After the completion of the trials, the three pacers selected via wild card entry will join pace legend Wasim Akram in the training camp to be set up for Pakistan fast bowlers at the National Stadium.
