In Cold Blood: Hotelier shoots 17-year-old

A 17-year-old boy was shot dead by a hotelier over a petty issue in the jurisdiction of the Civil Lines police station on Saturday.


Investigation Officer (IO), Tehzeeb Hasan told The Express Tribune that the victim, Hasan went to Safdar Hotel in Mareer Hasan to buy chapatis. “When it took too long, the boy exchanged hot words with the hotelier, Safdar and they scuffled.

Safdar reportedly took out his pistol and shot the boy three times in the chest,” the IO said.

The boy was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in critical condition but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

The IO said that the killer has been arrested and he has confessed to the crime. Safdar has been booked for the murder, according to the IO.
