PESHAWAR: A blast occurred in the jurisdiction of the Badhber police station in Peshawar, reported Express News reported on Saturday.
According to initial reports there were no casualties reported.
The SP Rural Peshawar confirmed that the bomb exploded in the station’s strong room (Maal Khana) where valuable goods like jewellery, cash, narcotics and alcohol and arms seized by police in investigating crimes are stored.
Rescue teams were dispatched and security was tightened in the area, while investigations are also underway.
