Staff Reshuffling: SALU’s vice-chancellor leaves for Turkey

The delegation will visit different universities of Turkey to promote academic linkages and training programmes.

SUKKUR: Shah Abdul Latif University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Parveen Shah left for Turkey as part of Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan’s delegation.

The delegation will visit different universities of Turkey to promote academic linkages and training programmes.

In her absence, SALU Registrar Syed Abdul Ghaffar will look after the routine affairs of the university. The delegation will return on April 15.

Meanwhile, the university’s professor, Dr Ghulam Ali Mallah, has been nominated as resource person and master trainer from Sindh in the area of Information Communication Technology by the Higher Education Commission to upgrade the quality of college education.

The initiative, supported by World Bank’s Tertiary Education Support Programme, aims to focus on college education in collaboration with the provincial governments.

Dr Mallah will conduct training and capacity building workshops for college administrators and principals.
