Policeman killed: Preedy SHO’s guard admits he shot him

DSP Zamir Abbasi says guard was deputed for Asad’s security but shot his officer in forehead after petty quarrel.

KARACHI:

A police constable was arrested on Thursday for killing Preedy SHO Agha Asad.

Preedy police registered the case (No. 134/13/302) on the complaint of the victim’s brother, Agha Mashooq, against Nazakat, a security guard of the slain SHO.

DSP Zamir Abbasi said that Nazakat was deputed for Asad’s security but shot his officer in the forehead after a petty quarrel on Tuesday.

DSP Abbasi said that Nazakat confessed that the SHO scolded him after which he lost his temper.
