The appeal stated that since Musharraf’s nomination papers from other constituencies were rejected by returning officers, his papers from NA-32 should also be rejected.
Musharraf’s nomination papers for NA-139 Kasur II were rejected on the basis of six objections raised by Advocate Javed Kasuri and Kasur district bar association general secretary Khalid Latif.
Mere hours after his nomination papers were rejected in Kasur, the former president was also compelled to pull out of NA-48 Islamabad due to a possible threat to his life. His nomination papers for NA-250 Karachi were also rejected on charges of violating the constitution and sacking top judges.
Musharraf expects support in Chitral due to development work conducted in the constituency, including the resumption of work on the Lowari tunnel, under his rule.

The only thing that the Pakistani courts understand I guess is street power. So now the Musharraf followers including lawyers should come out and protest (peacefully0 on the streets and let the biased judiciary know this behaviour is unconstitutional and unacceptable.
Musharraf fans need to realise that the constitution and the law of the land is far more important than an individual. Musharraf has committed high treason by abrogating the constitution, No Mercy for the usurper, no mercy!

Judiciary is apparently very impressionable and run by the opinion of media houses in Pakistan. The judges listen to the media programs and quote it in its remarks and decisions. In Jamshed Dashti case, Supreme Court ragged him in fake degree case and later he was given three years imprisonment by lower court because Supreme Court had already shown its inclinations. Such topsy-turvy decision making shows the intellect and professionalism of our Judiciary. Decisions are given before the trial court has even heard the case. In Pervez Musharraf’s case, instead of learning from the Jamshed Dashti case, media trial has preceded the actual case. Courts must take cognizance of the case and stop media from meddling in a case under trial being sub-judice.
political victimization under a caretaker setup to the max. embarrasing that people dont understand that what he did was for the country. the constitution is not more important than the country. no doubt he should present himself to the courts, which he's doing, but the political victimization of barring him from contesting elections from the seats he wishes wreeks of bias. what are they afraid of?

I suggest Musharaf should ask Asif Zardari to reciprocate, Issue another NRO and move out to save the country from bigger trouble. forget about contesting elections.It does not suit a former COAS and a former President to sit in the assembly to sit as an MNA.

I think he is willfully victamized. Dasti, Ch Nisar, Faisal Saleh Hayat and Ayaz Mir papers are accepted in appeal but seems like his papers will deliberately be rejected.
