MULTAN: Former MNA Jamshed Dasti announced on Thursday that he will contest elections from Muzaffargarh NA-177 and 178, Express News reported.

The announcement came as he spoke to the media after being released from the central jail Multan.

On April 4, Dasti was disqualified from elections, slammed with a three year sentence in jail and Rs 5,000 penalty by the Muzaffargarh District and Sessions court on account of having a fake degree.

Later on, the Lahore High Court Multan Bench ordered the release of former MNA Jamshed Dasti and declared the three-year jail term handed to him as null and void.

“It is a win for the poor. Me and my family will fight against the feudal system,” Dasti said addressing the media.

“I had said time and again that my degree was not fake and now I am proven right,” said a smiling Dasti.

Dasti had announced earlier that neither will he contest the upcoming elections and nor any of his family members.

"I was really disappointed at that time and decided to leave politics, but my supporters want me back," Dasti said.

Dasti was all praises for the judiciary and the media.

The unfortunate Pakistan masses The acquittal of Jamshed Dasti is no surprise, the powerful tried their best to destroy a poor man, a norm for elites of unfortunate people of Pakistan. The circumstances leading to Mr Dusti misfortune must be looked in the scenario of misfortunes of the nation as a whole. THe story goes back as far as the very 1st day of the creation of Pakistan, sons of the soil started to exercise their control on the countries economic, political and running the nation affairs. Finally in late 1950′s they have thumb on the throat of Pakistan. Separation of East Pakistan was their culmination point. Breaking up the country was a designed event not an accident. Unfortunately, the very people those destroyed the Pakistan are portrayed as the Shaheeds of the milat. What else you can expect from an illiterate and a bonded nation (good majority). The 2nd worst enemy of Pakistan is the judiciary. History of Pakistan repeatedly tells judiciary favouring the elites, the corrupts, the feudals against the common interests of the people of Pakistan. The current so called ECP is no more than an organ to make public fool and TIP (Mr Cricketer), Nawaz Sharief, Wali-Khan, PPP and Mr Diesel party etc, inside all have harmonious relationships, and on the surface they show little differences. They all know current statuesque suits them as it gives them rights to bleed the country and get prosper. Regarding the Pakistan future as an honourable nation in the world, the very last chance was killed by the recent and a very painful decision by SC of Pakistan against Dr TQ. Dr TQ, as I have Pakistan nationality too, therefore has the right to demand to scrutinise the candidates, but powerful crushed all those hopes. Future of Pakistan is extremely bleak; it is not possible to break the controls of current corrupt practices in the distant future by peaceful means. The advocates that in few decades all will be sort out by it. I ask those preachers with the pressure of population and the last 5 years record, can any sensible person imagine, what can happen to Pakistan in the next 20/30 years with the current policies. In modern politics, nations do not physically occupy other lands; they impose political systems like the one now in Pakistan. A steel ring, the ring of slavery around the neck of slave nations i.e. Pakistan. In the absence of fundamental human rights, social justice, democracy from roots (people empowerments – local democracy), economic fairness, true accountability, religious intolerance, (mass murdering of Muslim Shea faith), treatments of minorities (Hindus, Christians and Ehmadies etc are few examples. A country where 3rd generations of the true creators of the Pakistan, the people those gave ultimate sacrifices, sacrifice of life to create a dream home, a separate country for Muslims of Indian subcontinent are still regarded as migrants and every effort is exercised to silence them (in 1990’s, thousands were brutally murdered). A heinous crime by any standard, but it has a meaning only in living nations. Pakistani corrupt to bone politicians has learnt nothing from the loss of East Pakistan. Perhaps, the story may be repeated in Baluchistan. They are drunk with self interests and for love of wealth, their greed have no boundaries. I am reluctant to state the true solution for Pakistan, because the uni-power block of the world will not allow such a thing to happen, because a strong Pakistan will be against their interests. The small minded self indulging people living in dreams of nuclear assets of Pakistan should think, against whom they can be used? Pakistan a country Without a fair for all, these toys will remain on shelves getting dust. God save Pakistan.
