Khan said locals informed the police about two bodies lying near Agra Road, adding they rushed to the site and shifted the deceased to the police station.
The bodies – identified from identity cards recovered from their pockets – were of Sadaqat Shah, a resident of Matta Maghul Khel, Shabqadar and Adam Saz, a resident of Bara, Khyber Agency. The bodies bore no marks of torture or bullet wounds.
Shah, an employee of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company, had been missing since February 28. He left for work in the morning and did not return. Khan said Shah’s brother Shamshad Gul told the police they had no personal enmities.
Adam’s body was handed over to his relatives as well; they also maintained they had no enmities.
