Attack: Rockets land in Naway Kallay, no casualties

Police claimed that the rockets were being fired from Bara, Khyber Agency.

Three rockets fired from Khyber Agency by unidentified militants landed in Naway Kallay in the limits of the Pishtakara police station on the outskirts of the city on Monday evening.


Police said the target of the attack was the Peshawar Airport, however, all rockets landed in the village.

“Two rockets landed in a graveyard and one landed in a canal,” police claimed.

The incident spread widespread panic in the area. Fortunately, no casualty or property loss occurred.

Police claimed that the rockets were being fired from Bara, Khyber Agency.

The first rocket attack was reported in 2004 when multiple rockets fired from an unknown location landed near the Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines Civil Secretariat, Balahisar Fort and Dabgari Garden.
