Cycling: 1st international women’s event to be held

The PCF has directed eight of its affiliated units to confirm participation in the championship.

KARACHI: The Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) will organise the first International Women Cycling Championship in Lahore from April 15, said federation secretary Kamran Amin. The two-day event will feature two foreign teams who will arrive in Lahore on April 14, according to the PCF. Amin was optimistic that the event will promote the sport among women and will help in reflecting a softer image of the country. The PCF has directed eight of its affiliated units to confirm participation in the championship.
