While the drop in temperature after the thunderstorm and strong winds was refreshing for most, many were faced with the ugly side to the downpour Express News reported on Monday.

A heavy downpour was recoreded in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Nazimabad, Sultan abad, Liaquatabad, Machar Colony, Federal B area, Aisha Manzil, Malir, Model Colony and Old city area. Khikhrapar, Memon Goth, Gadap, Saddar and II Chundrigarh saw a light drizzle.

More than a dozen feeders tripped in the metropolitan but KESC officials claimed to have restored the electricity within hours.
