Promoting Hygiene: Cleanliness awareness walk organised after five years

After a five-year-gap, a walk to inaugurate cleanliness week and raise awareness of hygienic practices was organised in Maidan tehsil’s Kambarh Bazaar.


The walk, held on Saturday, was led by Lieutenant Colonel Zulfiqar Bhatti and went through different routes in Kambarh Bazaar, culminating in a gathering at the newly-built children’s park near the marketplace.

Residents of the area including minors, young students, traders and elders participated in the event carrying placards inscribed with slogans promoting the importance of cleanliness in everyday life.
