Floral arrangements: Flower exhibition held at GUU

Iqra Nasir of Gulberg College won first prize in the category for corner table decoration.

LAHORE: A flower exhibition was organised by the Horticultural Society in collaboration with the Botany Department at the Government College University on Friday. Around 100 floral arrangements were exhibited by students from 19 schools. These both included centre and corner table arrangements. GCU Vice Chancellor Muhammad Khaleequr Rehman inaugurated the exhibition. Iqra Nasir of Gulberg College won first prize and Salma Dar of the Forman Christian College came second in the category for corner table decoration. Hina Khan of the Government Islamia College stood first and Wajeeha Noor of the Home Economics College won the second prize in the category for centre table decoration.
