Imran Khan and Sheikh Rasheed to help each other, the former to support the latter on NA-55 and the latter to support the former on NA-56.
The assurance came after a meeting between the PTI chairman and the AML chief on Thursday.
Both the leaders agreed that the PTI would assist Sheikh Rasheed in NA-55, Rawalpindi during the upcoming general elections. In return, Rasheed will support Imran Khan for NA-56, Rawalpindi. Moreover, the PTI chief said that he will deliver a speech during Sheikh Rasheed’s election rally in NA-55.
Rasheed assured that his party workers will continue their support to PTI candidates across the country.
Both leaders then discussed the prevalent political situation, and other intricate details pertaining to seat adjustment and a joint political campaign in Rawalpindi.
Neither party, however, has yet to announce details of any seat adjustment in other parts of the country.

Mr Khan has cut a sorry figure. This is the height of hypocrisy. Like Khan Sahab's vision, his action also remain blur and unclear. First he says that PTI is going alone in the elections and then he makes a seat adjustment with Sheikh sahab who supposedly was Mr Musharraf's right hand. Well done IK!
Whenever you raise fingers on PTI or IK, please just try to see what other options you have. PMLN, PPP, MQM, ANP, PMLQ??

The tsunami mirage of Imran Khan still has huge holes, gaps and unexplained means to achieve all the goals his party has enumerated, none of which are the basis of Imran’s youth following. This demographic bulge, which renders Pakistan a ‘young’ country, is less inspired by what the PTI is saying than disillusioned and reacting to the ‘older’ parties and their political culture on the one hand, and gushing over Imran Khan’s undeniable charisma on the other. It is a sign of the times that the young are relatively unlettered in politics and unable to bring to bear the critical intellectual tools required to dissect the PTI or any party’s political stances and positions.

Imran Khan once said "Allah mujhay Sheikh Rasheed jesa politician na banaey" and now he is supporting Sheikh Rasheed in his constituency and taking Sheikh's support for IK's NA56 constituency. This is heigh of "Nazria-i-Zaroorat" (I don't want to use the word muk-muka over here).
Atleast to me this is not Naya Pakistan. PTI is compromising on almost every principle it made years back.

I think this is the third time we are hearing such news...PTI has not even made its mind abt wht to do with Sh.Rashid....how long should we wait before this news again fizzles out into oblivion...Imran is seriously beating John Kerry by a long shot over ' flip flopping'....I am so happy i am an ex-PTI member...cant trust him to run such an ungovernable country...
Does anyone need any more proof as to who is pulling strings behind the PTI? I guess folks should take a look at what IK had to say about Tuli just a few months back. Why this sudden change in heart? And that too for a guy who is a known operative of the establishment?

Sheikh Rashid wants support from PTI to win the election, whereas, Imran Khan does not need any support from Sheikh Rashid. PTI is extended a symbolic support.

These two leaders should come together to fight the present corrupt system of Pakistan politics. It will be great if they can convince Dr. Qadri to join forces in this Jihad too. Mr. Qadri has awakened the Pakistani nation for 62 and 63 article filter the corrupt the politicians.

Politically, it is good decision AML and PTI both have presence in Rawalpindi but individually there chances of winning are slim but together will pose tough competition for PML(N). I think both will win the two NA seats but not without tough competition.

That is the height of noora kushti ,IK want to getin at any cost ,i still remember few days back he said pti will go in election alone and now just for the sake of winning a seat he did alliance with a guy whome once he said is most corrupt.Pity on IK....he shoudnt go that low for the sake of one seat and he did this as he didnt see any chance from lhr and mianwali...lol
