Forms available: Land allotment in Cholistan begins

BAHAWALPUR: The allotment of land in Cholistan began after 30 years on Wednesday, Cholistan Development Authority Managing Director Javed Akhtar Mehmood told The Express Tribune. He assured the applicants that the allotments would be made on merit. He said a committee had been constituted for the verification of the applicants’ claims. It will be supervised by a CDA colonisation officer, who will make surprise visits to homes and other addresses mentioned in the forms. The MD said that the allotment process had started after 30 years. Six one-window counters have been set up at the CDA office from where applicants can obtain the forms. The form will be available till April 30.
