Portfolios for Sindh caretaker cabinet announced

Number of members in in the caretaker cabinet climbs to 19.

The caretaker government has allotted the portfolios to all ministers and advisers by adding a new member. The number of members has now climbed to 19.


Shakaib Ahmed Qureshi has been given the portfolios of planning, development, excise and taxation departments. Syed Shabbir Zaidi will head the finance department, Noorul Huda Shah for information and archives, Anees Haroon for human rights and women development, Nawab Qalb Hussain Lahori  for forest and wildlife, Mohammad Sharif Ansari for environment and alternative energy, Sardar Khan Ghoto for labour and transportation, Mehmood Yousuf Mandviwala for law and prisons, Iqbal Dawood Pakwala for food, Raes Ghulam Qasim Jiskani for livestock and fisheries, Dr Junaid Ali Shah for health, Sardar MuhammadYaseen Malik for Auqaf and religious affairs, Khalid Tawab for industries and commerce, Dr NK Lohano for agriculture, Abdul Qadir Chohan for public health engineering and Khalid Latif for social welfare and Zakat.

For the caretaker chief minister’s advisers, Mian Zahid Hussain has been given the department of information and technology and Haroon Farooqi will lead the sports and youth affairs departments. Zakria Godil has been appointed as adviser for special education.
